Leonard Horridge was born September 6, 1930 in Manchester (Salford), England. He passed away peaceful at home Friday evening January 24, 2014 in Central Square, New York. He was an honorably discharged 12 year veteran of The US Army and a Korean War veteran. He worked for the Walker Pharmaceuticals Corp in Eastwood and then worked for Allied Chemical, in Solvay, for 31 years till his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and love to work on cars and do home repair. He was a tough, but a fair man and made sure quests in his house had food if they wanted some. He liked to go to music festivals and out to the local diner for breakfast on Saturday mornings. His favorite bands were Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, The Traveling Wilburys, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bill Haley and The Comets and Willie Nelson. He is survived by his sons John S Horridge of Central Square, NY and Eric Horridge of Dallas, TX, his daughter Monica Horridge of Port St. Lucie, FL his girlfriend Patricia Plato of Central Square, NY and his cat Laddy Boy. Services will be held at a later date
