John ‘Jack’ Randall, 83, of Central Square passed away Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital with his loving family by his side. A career Naval officer for 20 years Jack retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 1968. Afterward he helped found the Bud Randall & Sons Company and was a life member and past commander of the Fuller Taylor American Legion Post #915. Jack enjoyed traveling, woodworking, sports, golfing and bowling. Jack was predeceased by his great grand daughter Mia.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Vivian, three daughters, Debra (Gary) Corigliano, Gail (Edward) Whitham, Barbara (Mark) Cowles; his son Darrell (Lisa) Randall; his brothers, Ronald (Judith), Gerald (Susan), Phillip (Kae); his sisters Patricia O’Connor and Yvonne Wilkinson; 8 grand children; 8 great grandchildren 1 great great grand daughter and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 11-2pm Wednesday with 2pm services following at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square, the Rev. J. Michael Thesier officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fuller Taylor American Legion Post 915 Veterans Memorial Park fund.
