Sharon L. King

Sharon Lucille King, 82, of Constantia, passed away at The Manor at Seneca Hill on Wednesday April 10, 2024.  She was born March 24, 1942 to Irwin and Olive LaVigne of Constantia.  Throughout Sharon’s lengthy career as a bookkeeper some places she was employed were Spaulding Metals and Oneida Lake Petroleum.  Sharon was very involved with the Constantia Congregational Church, Constantia Volunteer Fire Department Aux and  Boy Scout Troop and Pack 724.   She loved her grandchildren whether it was attending musical events,or vacationing with them on the beaches of Maine and Walt Disney World.  

Sharon is survived by her sons Michael(Kirstin) and William(Tammy) of Constantia.  Grandchildren Kimberly(Robert), Eli(Matt), Michael(Ryan), Jarred(Paris), great granddaughter Mary Lynn, and sister Nanette(Tom) of  North Carolina.  Also, sister in laws Kathy LaVigne, Susan LaVigne and brother in laws Clifford(Anita) King and Christopher(Anita) King, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, loving husband of 63 years William (2023) and brothers Joseph and Terrance.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday April 24th from 4 to 6pm at Traub Funeral Home with the funeral being held Thursday April 25th 10 am at Traub and graveside service at the Constantia Rural Cemetery.
